Mercedes-Benz (MB) reportedly is preparing C-Class 2014 or fifth generation. With the face of the new total, this model is expected to return to rival the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 that had first appeared with a new figure.

Appearance
The new C-Class W205 production code or BR205, reportedly over a length of 20 mm from the previous model. Also reported, the weight is also lighter.

The lines of its body is more aerodynamic design with front and rear lights are more elegant. The model produced is estimated sedan, kupe 2 doors, open roof (convertible) and station wagon.

AClass dashboard design follows the latest styles. Some of the entertainment and communications equipment is installed for todays monitors like the iPad. Others, Magic-Sky Control, electro chromatic glass that can change color from transparent to dark with a touch button control.

Machine
Like the other models, Mercedes-Benz also provides gasoline and diesel engines. For gasoline engines, consisting of four options, namely 4-cylinder, 1.6 liter (150) PS, 2.0-liter (205 PS), V6, 3.5 liter with a turbo (330P PS). For a more fierce, no AMG V8-engine, 5.5 liter twin turbo with a choice of 460 and 520 PS power.

For diesel, there is a choice of 4, 3 of whom use format 4-cylinder in line with capacity from 1.8 liter (140 PS), 2.2 liter turbo (170 PS) and 2.5 liter turbo (204 PS). The most powerful variant, V6 3.0 liter, 250 PS.

Reported, the MB will make this model as its first hybrid sedan project. The electric motor is used to produce power 27 PS.

For transmission, chosen for the 6 speed manual and automatic 8-speed, both supplied by ZF. While the fast version, AMG, using the alias 7G-DCT 7-speed automatic transmission with double clutch.

Range Rover Evoque is one of the best selling SUV for the company. Big success of Evoque has given the company to try out different variations of evoque. Range Rover Evoque Convertible concept was one of the experiments from the company and it was showcased in the 2012 Geneva Motor show. Land Rover has said that it will hear  the customer feedback to decide about the production plans. Now car and driver reports that Land Rover has dropped the plans for the Evoque convertible because of poor customer feed back. Evoque was very famous for its design especially the slopping the roof line. So there is no point of removing it and destroying the elegant design. In future Evoque will get a big panoramic sunroof which can be opened.
