Volkswagen Launched a sporty version of Polo as “Polo SR” in India.SR means Sporty Racer.Volkswagen want to give Polo more sporty appeal.new Volkswagen Polo SR comes with special Aero package.Volkswagen Polo SR gets Front,side and Rear skirts,Rear Spoiler on the roof,Chrome exhaust and 15 inch Alloy wheels.On the inside Polo SR comes with Livon seashell Upholstery for the dash board,Climate control,rake and reach for the steering wheel,electronic Adjustable OVRMs,New RCD 320 Music system with USB,Aux and Bluetooth connectivity,Rear wiper and defogger,Multi information display and Rear parking sensors.
Volkswagen Polo SR is powered by 1.2 L petrol engine which makes 75 BHP of power and 110 NM of torque.And the engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.If Volkswagen want to make Polo really sporty then the engine must be either 1.2 L TSI or 1.6 L petrol engine.Volkswagen Polo with 1.2 TSI has caught on testing and we are sure Volkswagen will launch it in India.Petrol powered cars have shown decline in sales.Volkswagen want more sales for Polo petrol.These are some of the initiatives taken for improving sales.If Volkswagen brings a diesel powered Polo SR.They can get good numbers.Volkswagen Polo SR is priced at RS 6.27 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi).

McLaren P1 revealed at 2012 Paris Motor Show
McLaren P1 is inteded to be the very pinnacle of driving pleasure and superb performance.
Mclaren Automotive Managing director, Anthony Sheriff, " our aim is not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit.It is the true test of a supercars all round ability and a much more important technical statement.
The british carmaker declares that its 600kg of downforce is the highest level among current road cars and five times more than the McLaren MP4-12c.Its designed to be driven to the racing circuit with great levels of comfort and refinement.

Power to weight ratio will be more than 600PS per tonne.Perhaps the development of Mclarens bespoke 3.8litre twin-turbo V8,rather than on all new engine.
It has a drag coefficient of 0.34 and uses a carbonfibre structure that incorporates a carbon fibre roll bar over the cabin.It will be expected to have a regular windscreen wiper from the final production version and also steering wheel on the left so no central driving position as the F1.
Mclaren P1 will likely to produce more than 625HP currently available in the 12C COUPE and SPIDER convertible. We would expect at least 800HP to be competitive with Ferrari or nearer 1000HP as F1 does possess.

While at the top with the LMP1 guest starters of rebellion, a European team, the Petit Le Mans was able to win, it was behind the ELMS team for points in the championship. Thiriet by TDS Racing and driver Mathias Beche, Pierre Thiriet and Christophe Tinseau were in fifth place overall and fourth in the LMP2 class for the second time this season, coming ahead of the competition to the finish and get the championship.
The Morgan of Oak came with Jacques Nicolet, Bertrand Baguette and Olivier Pla as the sixth to eighth place finish LMP2, the Zytek of Greaves and the Oreca prototype of Murphy did not see the goal. Status GP took the trip across the pond but not start.
The two cars from the GTE-Am were counted at positions 24 and 39. During the IMSA Performance Porsche Anthony Pons, Nicolas Armindo and Raymond Narac with the class victory won the amateur class of ELMS, the AF Corse Ferrari of Matt Griffin hit with driving into the barriers.
