Ford EcoSport Demo Car Reached Mumbai and Delhi Dealerships
Ford EcoSport is one of the most awaited launches of 2013.Ford India first showcased the Ecosport at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi.Ever since that Interest on EcoSport is increasing day by day.Ford India started testing EcoSport in India last year.Now Ford is testing Ecosport across India.So Many spy pictures of Ecosport is coming each weak.There are reports of Ecosport reached Delhi dealership.Now Team-BHP got the couple of pictures of EcoSport near Ford service center in Mumbai.Details of the variant are not available.
We can expect the launch date of EcoSport will not be far away from us.Ford Ecosport will be launched in India with both petrol and diesel engine options.Ford will bring 1.0 L Eco Boost engine which got the prestigious World Engine of the Year Award.Along with the 1.5 L Petrol engine and 1.5 L Diesel engine.Ford will also launch the automatic variant of Ecosport.But the Automatic gearbox is not available in Diesel variant.
Ford India heavily Localized Ecosport to make the price tag more attractive.Ford Ecosport also get excise duty benefits for less than 4m in length.Renault Duster is EcoSport main competitor for Ecosport in India.Duster captured the market in no time.Ford must price the Ecosport aggressively to fight against Duster.Most of the Ford Dealers have started taking the Ecosport booking unofficially.Booking amount for the Ford Ecosport is RS 25,000.
